Lead commercial delivery where project scale, procurement and programme certainty matter.

Viridis Talent is seeking experienced Cost Consultants for project commercial leadership opportunities in Abilene, supporting major data centre construction.

The role will involve:

  • Leading cost management across multiple buildings, phases or major work packages.

  • Establishing cost breakdown structures, reporting standards and change governance.

  • Challenging contractor forecasts and reconciling commitments against approved budgets.

  • Assessing procurement exposure, escalation and commercial risk.

  • Coordinating cost information across client, contractor and design teams.

  • Leading commercial meetings and supporting a team of cost professionals.

Your background should include:

  • Approximately 8–12+ years’ cost management or quantity surveying experience.

  • Leadership of substantial construction projects or programmes.

  • Strong data centre or advanced technology sector experience.

  • Confident negotiation and the ability to turn complex cost information into clear decisions.
