Senior Project Developer – Utility Scale Solar & BESS

The Opportunity

Viridis Talent is partnering with a leading renewable energy developer seeking a Senior Project Developer to support the growth of a substantial Solar and Battery Energy Storage (BESS) portfolio across Texas.

This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded development team responsible for delivering utility-scale renewable energy projects from early-stage origination through permitting and pre-construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead utility-scale Solar and BESS projects through the development lifecycle
• Manage permitting, environmental and stakeholder engagement activities
• Coordinate consultants, landowners, utilities and regulatory authorities
• Identify and mitigate project risks
• Support project acquisitions and greenfield development opportunities
• Work closely with engineering, commercial and construction teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of renewable energy project development experience
• Strong understanding of ERCOT and the Texas energy market
• Experience developing utility-scale Solar, BESS or Wind projects
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
