Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive growth in the Italian solar market. The role focuses on promoting a wide range of utility-scale and commercial PV solutions, including PV ground-mount systems, fixed-tilt structures, trackers, carports, and associated mounting technologies.

This is a home-office position requiring close collaboration with technical support, marketing, finance, and wider European teams, while building strong relationships with customers and regional partners.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Achieve assigned quarterly and annual sales targets.

  2. Plan and execute sales and marketing activities to expand market penetration and acquire new customers.

  3. Understand customer requirements and provide expert B2B consultation on PV mounting and system solutions.

  4. Deliver product presentations, technical explanations, and training sessions both online and in person (trade shows, events, customer sites).

  5. Manage the full sales cycle independently — proposals, documentation, commercial negotiations, and contract preparation.

  6. Support delivery quality assurance and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

  7. Participate in contract reviews, assess commercial terms, and highlight potential risks.

  8. Follow up on accounts receivable and ensure timely payment collection.

  9. Carry out additional tasks related to the role as required.


Qualifications & Requirements

  1. Technical or commercial education completed.

  2. Minimum 3 years of sales experience within the PV industry.

  3. Strong understanding of PV ground-mount structures and mounting systems.

  4. Valid Class B driving licence.

  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  6. Fluency in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.

  7. Highly motivated, confident, and comfortable in customer-facing environments.

  8. Strong presentation and training skills.

  9. Team-oriented with strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.

  10. Comfortable working within a multinational organisation.

  11. Willingness to travel regularly for business.
